Daphnie Figueiredo came to work at Campion Center in March 2013. Originally from Haiti, she has lived in the United States since the age of seven. In her role as an Activities Assistant, she helps residents structure their day in order to maximize their mobility and overall independence. This may include coordinating activities such as word games, trips to museums, shopping and dinner excursions, as well as venturing into the city to enjoy a play or musical. She uses her sewing skills to provide alterations to resident clothing.
Daphnie graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Social Science. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in theological studies at Boston College Graduate School of Theology and Ministry. Daphnie has three children, two of whom received degrees from Boston College.
Daphnie feels extremely blessed to be a part of the Campion family and feels honored to work with the Priests and Brothers. Campion fulfills her desire to help people live a safe and joyful life.
