Frances was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania where she also earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at East Stroudsburg University in 1999. She then moved to Philadelphia to attend MCP Hahnemann University where she received her master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2001. After spending her first 3 years as a physical therapist working in a skilled nursing facility, Frances was ready to travel and grow her expertise. As a travel therapist, Frances was able to sharpen her patient and clinical skills while exploring this beautiful country. Frances’ travels took her to Texas, Washington, Alaska, and Massachusetts. After 4 years of traveling, she chose to settle down in Concord, Massachusetts where she began her management training.
Frances became the manager of the Rehabilitation Department at Campion in 2014. Since then, she has steadily increased the programs available to the residents of the health center and rest home. Under Frances’ supervision, the residents at Campion have benefitted from programs to address pain management, fall prevention, orthopedic management and recovery, movement disorders, cognitive rehab, communication disorders, swallowing disorders, and neurological recovery, to name a few. Residents have access to a variety of treatment interventions and modalities to address impairments utilizing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services. The opportunity to build and develop the rehab department at Campion has been a blessing for which she is most grateful. Her clinical knowledge, compassion, humor, and leadership has paved the way for an interdisciplinary department that seeks to provide individual and holistic care to each resident.
